Just for fun, I created a few new header images and configured the blog to randomly select the image on each page load. No particular reason, I just like the photos and got bored with the old image.
The first image was taken just after we left Point Hudson marina. Headed south to Seattle.
Headed south for Seattle near the entrance to Hood Canal. This is about as calm as it gets.
Anchored in Melanie Cove in Desolation Sound.
The deck and a line on a sailboat in Point Hudson.
Princess Cove on Wallace Island. That’s actually not us in the photo.
In front of the Empress Hotel in Victoria’s Inner Harbour. We could not have asked for a better location.
Princess Cove, Wallace Island Marine Park in British Columbia. This may be my favorite anchorage in the Gulf Islands.
Motoring south down the Malaspina Strait.
Another view in Malaspina Strait. A glorious day motoring from the flybridge.
Desolation Sound. This is such a spectacular view.
At the dock at Otter Bay.
At the Port of Sidney Marina. The nicest marina in the Gulf Islands, I think.
Great pictures! I enjoy your blog and look forward to reading more.
John. Thanks for the kind words.
