We left Poulsbo early last Friday morning headed for Sidney, BC. Our destination was Avalon Brightwork in Sidney. It’s time for a little brightwork TLC on our old boat. The weather was great for the beginning of our trip. Winds were calm, sunrise was pretty, and the tide was ebbing in our favor most of the way north. A nice day to be on the boat.

Sidney to Garrison Bay
We are headed back to the US today. Sadly, this starts the trip home. We’ll still have a few nice days on the boat ahead, just not what we’ve experienced the last ten days or so.
Morning in Sidney. We are the small boat on the dock full of big boats. Oddly, most seem to be from California. I cleaned the boat a bit. Kim went to town. We left when she came back.
Genoa Bay to Sidney
Sadly, the end of our trip is nearing. Tomorrow we cross back into the US. Our last night in Canada is in Sidney. That’s just a short hop back to customs in Roche Harbor. One more night in the islands.
Backing out of “C” Dock at the Genoa Bay Marina.
Otter Bay to Sidney
The RCMP boat Higgitt departed this morning. An interesting boat. They need more antennas.
Shortly thereafter, it was time for us to make the short hop over to Sidney.
