I am going to try and get caught up. I am still a few days behind what’s going on. We left Spencer Spit late morning headed for Stuart Island. Still no rain, but plenty of clouds. We let Cindy do the driving.
The ferry Elwha passed us in Harney Channel and headed for East Sound.
We continued on through Wasp Passage, around Crane Island, and headed toward Spieden Island. By this point, the weather was starting to look pretty good.
We motored around Spieden Island through Johns Pass between Stuart and Johns Islands around Satellite Island and into Prevost Harbor. We anchored in the little bay on Satellite Island. There was one other boat in Prevost harbor. Very quiet.
It turned into a fine day so we decided to dinghy over to the county dock and walk out to Turn Point. You can just see the boat in the middle of the photo. Across the way in the little bay.
It’s a good walk to Turn Point. About a mile and a half. Through beautiful woods. Well worth the effort. At least on days like today.
Cindy took this photo of Kim and I. A fantastic view from the rocks above Haro Strait.
Turn Point. Once again, there was no one around but us. I am starting to wonder about us. No one seems to want to be where we are. Good for us, though.
Kim hates it when I take her picture. She was on her best behavior for this one.
We ended the day back on the boat. Kim whipped up some really good Thai Chicken. That, a good bottle of Chardonnay, a little music, and it was a great evening. I keep suggesting to Kim that she should post a couple of recipes here. I’ll keep suggesting. Maybe I will be able to convince her. Eventually.
All in all, a great day on the boat.

Weather looks beautiful! Glad everyone is having fun!
Gorgeous day. Looks like you all had a grand time.
