The yellow arrows are the three Poulsbo marinas. Leftmost is the city marina. The Poulsbo Yacht Club is in the middle, and Liberty Bay Marina is to the right. The purple arrow is the fireworks barge. We are the blank spot in the center.
Everything else is boats here for the show. Big boats, little boats, rafts of boats, lots of boats.
Lots of boats are here now. This is about 10:00 am. That’s us. The arrow. Well where there arrow points.
I know. The boat lives here in Poulsbo anyway. So why do we anchor out half a mile from our marina for the Third of July fireworks? It’s fun. It’s fun being a part of the mass of boats swaying with the breeze. Much better than tied to the dock.
This is Monday morning. We arrived from Gig Harbor about 9:00. Not many boats here yet …
