I can report that we made it safely out of Clam Bay with nothing attached to the boat that shouldn’t be. I have conquered my fear of Clam Bay. That’s good because I know who would have had to get in the water … again.

Ladysmith to Clam Bay
We departed Ladysmith with no destination in mind. We’ll need to come back again and spend a bit more time. Everyone was very nice.
Wallace Island to Ladysmith
Morning in Princess Cove was a combination of rain and fog again. After a leisurely breakfast, we stowed the kayaks and the inflatable and decided to head for Ladysmith. We have not been there before.
Ganges to Wallace Island
It’s a gray morning here at Wallace Island. Low clouds, not quite fog. We’ve been here two days now. For the most part, it’s been nice. Not great, but nice.
Like this photo from yesterday morning. This is better than nice.
Montague Harbour to Ganges
Fog was the word of the morning. Lots of it. We could barely see the boats two buoys away.
Montague Harbour
We stayed an extra night in Montague Harbour. It was quite and nice, so why not?
We woke to rain this morning. Low clouds hanging on the hills. It was not a complete surprise. I seem to remember something about rain in the forecast. With the rain and low clouds, it’s very quiet this morning. There is little sign of life on the other boats. The water is absolutely flat and calm.
It was a lazy morning reading and relaxing.
The sun came out just after noon. We took the kayaks on a great circumnavigation of Montague Harbor. It was very nice. I have a bunch of video, but I don’t know that the current connection can upload it. I’ll save it for another time, exciting as it is …
Spencer Spit to Montague Harbour
We’ve been out of Internet contact for a few days so I am trying to get all the posts caught up.
A few morning sprinkles and a nice rainbow as sunrise greeted us.
